I moved to Temple Terrace in 1972 and attended Temple Terrace Elementary, Lomax, Greco Jr High and King High School. This community was a wonderful place to grow up and my husband and I returned to raise our children in this family friendly community. All 4 of our children attended Lewis, Greco and King High School where they played baseball and football.

City Council members supervise the City Manager and approve the budget and financial expenditures. City Council also manages growth and land use decisions. Council members serve on various boards with Hillsborough County and City of Tampa and are called to represent the interests of Temple Terrace on these boards.

Temple Terrace is truly an amazing place to live, work and play. We have beautiful green space with many parks and access to the river. Residents have many recreation options from walking or biking through the tree lined streets to organized work out classes. We have a great variety of housing stock to meet the needs of any size household and the commercial space to host your business. Our proximity to USF, I-75, I-275 and downtown Tampa make it easy to quickly get to most destinations in the area. Many different volunteer groups help create a strong sense of community.
